6. IMPLEMENTATION
The development involves the following (in this order):
- To see what particular aspect of sustainability we want to reflect on video.
- To decide what specific physical place we want to record, looking for a person (student / a) adequately trained for it and having available the necessary technical means.
- To develop a general script of activity: where we record what we record, who we interview and those responsible for these parts ..
- To contact responsible individuals for the installation we want to visit (set date, time, duration of visit, permits, possible questions to answer if we do an interview, etc.)
- To specify a script of questions for the interview (students), making it clear who will do the interviews.
- To see if we need transportation to the chosen place and, if necessary, properly achieve it.
- To make video recording.
- To perform video editing (postproduction).
7. POSSIBLE OUTCOMES AND BENEFITS
Possible outcomes and benefits are related to the achievement of the objectives.
- The students collect information as pre-visit step to prepare the interviews, which favors the significant and autonomous learning.
- The communication of the results in video format is very attractive both for those who perform and for those who are to receive it, which increases the motivation of the group.
- This type of activity can be reused later to illustrate, inform and motivate other groups of the same or other schools, in later years. Transferability and reuse are also benefits of the activity.
- Students cooperate to plan the various steps of the activity, improving their collaboration skills.
In addition, the experience will contribute to the fulfillment of the following key competences:
- linguistic communication.
- digital competence.
- Learn to learn.
- social and civic competences.
- Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.
- Cultural awareness and expressions.
It will also contribute to the fulfillment of the following strategic objectives:
- Improving school success rates and levels of development of basic skills.
- The decrease of early dropout.
- Improving adequacy rates.
